The US National Library of Medicine, part of the National Institutes of Health, has announced dbGaP, a database designed to archive and distribute data from genome wide association studies.

IDRAC

Three new country modules — India, Israel and Turkey — are now available in IDRAC, the global pharmaceutical regulatory intelligence database from Thomson Scientific.

EMBO Journal

The EMBO Journal and EMBO reports, which are published by Nature Publishing Group, will accept open-access articles as of January 2007, subject to payment of a publication fee.

In Vitro journals

Springer has entered into a partnership with the Society for In Vitro Biology and the International Association for Plant Biotechnology to publish two In Vitro journals.

Books@Ovid

Ovid has expanded its partnership with Oxford University Press (OUP) to add more than 180 titles in medicine, neurosciences, social and behavioural sciences to Books@Ovid, its e-books search and discovery platform.
