Acta Meteorologica Sinica

Springer will publish the official journal of the Chinese Meteorological Society, Acta Meteorologica Sinica from January 2011. The peer-reviewed journal joins Springer’s Chinese Library of Science, which is described as a collection of more than 90 high-quality Chinese research journals.

Acta Meteorologica Sinica provides a platform for atmospheric-sciences research papers from all over the world. It publishes articles in all branches of meteorology, including topics such as pure and applied meteorology, climatology and climate change, marine meteorology, atmospheric physics and chemistry, cloud physics and weather modification. The journal appears six times a year and was previously published in-house by the society. With the new partnership, Acta Meteorologica Sinica will be published by Springer electronically worldwide and in print outside mainland China.
